The role
We are working with a highly inclusive secondary school with a strong pastoral and SEND focus to recruit a Graduate Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, or pastoral support.
You’ll work closely with teaching staff, the SEN team, and pastoral leads to support students both in class and through targeted interventions.

£90 – £110 per day | PAYE | Depending on experience

Key responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group academic support

Support students with SEN, SEMH, or additional learning needs

Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons

Support emotional regulation, confidence, and engagement

Gain hands-on experience within a secondary school setting
The ideal candidate

Degree in any subject (psychology, education, sociology, sport, or humanities advantageous)

Passion for working with young people

Calm, patient, and resilient approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
