The role
We are recruiting Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Northumberland, North Tyneside, and Newcastle. This is a flexible role ideal for individuals looking for seasonal, short-term, or ongoing work during GCSE, A-Level, and mock exams.
Exam invigilators ensure exams run smoothly, fairly, and in line with JCQ regulations, providing a calm and organised environment for students.
Key responsibilities

Supervise pupils during examinations in line with JCQ regulations

Distribute and collect exam papers and materials

Ensure a quiet, controlled, and fair exam environment

Report any issues or irregularities to the Exams Officer

Assist with setting up and clearing exam rooms

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Confident working with secondary-aged students

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Previous invigilation experience is helpful but not essential
