£110 - £130 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with special educational needs in classroom activities
- Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help
- Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive learning behaviours
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (e.g., CACHE Level 3)
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to special educational needs
Education:
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Experience:
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different special educational needs and how to support them effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Mental Health First Aid training
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a classroom setting
- Full-time hours, temporary contract
- May require some flexibility in working hours
