We’re working with a vibrant secondary school in Waltham Forest looking for a confident, creative Cover Supervisor to step into the classroom and keep learning moving when teachers are away.
This isn’t your typical desk job. One minute you could be supporting a Year 7 English class, the next guiding a lively KS4 group through set work. If you’re adaptable, engaging, and bring a positive presence, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising classes across KS3–KS4, ensuring students stay on task with pre-set work
- Managing classroom behaviour using a calm, confident, and consistent approach
- Creating a positive, engaging environment where students feel supported
- Thinking creatively to keep students motivated and focused
- Building strong relationships with staff and pupils alike
What we’re looking for:
- A naturally creative and proactive personality
- Strong behaviour management or confidence leading groups
- Excellent communication skills and classroom presence
- Experience working with young people, education experience is a bonus
- Someone who’s adaptable, resilient, and enjoys a fast-paced environment
