We are seeking caring and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of school settings, supporting children with diverse learning needs. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about supporting children with SEND, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEND, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Assist in the planning and delivery of personalised learning programs.

Use creative, hands-on approaches to engage and motivate learners.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).

Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to teaching staff and parents.

Support children in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
About You:

Experience working with children with SEND (experience in primary or secondary settings preferred).

A patient, compassionate approach with a genuine passion for supporting diverse learners.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and colleagues.

An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are a plus.
