A specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Ferryhill is looking for a motivated SEN HLTA to join its committed team. This rewarding role offers the chance to positively influence the educational journey of pupils with SEND, SEMH needs and other barriers to learning.
Your Role
• Deliver tailored intervention programmes
• Lead small-group and one-to-one learning sessions
• Support pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SEND professionals
• Monitor progress and implement effective support strategies
• Help pupils build confidence, independence and resilience
What We're Looking For
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Background in SEND, SEMH or alternative provision settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
