We’re working with a friendly and well-regarded primary school in Longwell Green looking for a Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a full-time permanent role in a supportive school that values teamwork, consistency, and creating a positive learning environment for both pupils and staff. The school has a strong community feel and a leadership team that’s approachable and genuinely invested in staff development.
The role would suit an experienced KS2 teacher or an ECT looking to start their teaching career in a school with strong support and mentoring in place.
The role
As the Year 4 Teacher, you’ll:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Support pupils’ progress across reading, writing and maths
- Create a calm, inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents
- Help pupils build confidence, independence and a love of learning

We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in KS2
- Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Delivers creative and engaging lessons
- Has strong classroom management skills
- Is committed to supporting every child’s development
