Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation
- Support individual students and small groups with their learning activities
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide additional support to students with special educational needs
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Participate in school events and activities
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children
- Basic understanding of the national curriculum
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is a plus
