We are recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing Year 1 Teacher for a full-time role in Leeds & Wakefield, offering a competitive daily rate of £130–£200 per day, depending on experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during a crucial stage of their early education, helping them build confidence in phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative Year 1 lessons
- Support pupils with phonics and early learning development
- Differentiate learning to meet individual pupil needs
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Track and assess pupil progress effectively
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS1
- Strong understanding of phonics schemes
- Excellent classroom management skills
