Protocol Education is recruiting SEND Teachers for specialist schools in South Shields supporting pupils with SEMH needs, autism, and learning difficulties.
The Role
You will deliver engaging lessons while helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation skills. Success in this role requires patience, consistency, and the ability to build strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering differentiated learning
- Supporting pupils with SEMH and SEND needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Working collaboratively with wider school teams
- Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience supporting SEND or SEMH learners
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent resilience and adaptability
- Passion for making a difference
