We’re working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Redcar who are on the lookout for a confident Maths teacher to step in and make a real difference. Whether you’re after something full-time and long-term, or a more flexible, part-time setup, we’ve got options that fit around you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Bringing lessons to life, even the tricky topics
- Creating a classroom where students feel confident to give it a go
- Managing behaviour with calm confidence and consistency
What we’re looking for:
- Experience teaching Maths in secondary schools (KS3/KS4 is a must)
- Experience in UK schools
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a big plus, but not essential if you’ve got solid classroom experience
- Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport quickly
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to get one sorted
