Protocol Education is working with specialist schools across Gateshead seeking dedicated SEND Teachers to support pupils with autism, SEMH needs, and complex learning difficulties.
The Role
As a SEND Teacher, you'll deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs. You'll foster a safe, nurturing environment where pupils feel supported, valued, and motivated to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with support staff and external agencies
- Monitoring progress and adapting learning accordingly
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience within SEND or specialist settings
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Adaptable and resilient approach
- Commitment to inclusive education
