Salary: £89 - £108 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with a range of additional needs.
Role Overview:

Supporting students with a variety of SEND, including autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD).

Assisting with personalised learning plans, both 1:1 and in small groups.

Helping to create a positive and structured learning environment.

Collaborating with teachers, therapists and SENCOs to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children or young people with SEND (in school, care or community settings).

Be patient, empathetic and able to adapt to different learning styles.

Communicate effectively with both pupils and staff.

Be reliable, consistent and confident in supporting behaviour and engagement.
