ROLE: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are recruiting for two secondary schools who require teaching assistants to join their special educational needs department. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic about supporting young people!
This post will involve supporting students from aged 11 years – 16 years, with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Communication needs, Behavioural-Emotional and Social difficulties.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting young people with special educational needs. Teaching assistant level 3 qualifications are ideal, but not essential. The school will provide training for the successful applicants.
Contract Details:
- Start date – ASAP or September 2025.
- Full time role (Monday – Friday).
- Working hours 8:15am – 3:15pm.
- Term time only – in line with the local authority academic calendar.
- 16 weeks of holiday per annum.
