Want to work in a school where inclusion isn’t a buzzword, it’s how everything runs?

We’re working with a large, welcoming primary school in North Bristol, at the heart of its local community. The school has a strong reputation for its inclusive approach, with a dedicated focus on supporting pupils with additional needs through tailored provision and a nurturing environment.

They’re now looking for an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs on a personalised learning journey.

This is a setting where relationships come first. Staff work closely together, pupils are encouraged to be themselves, and every child is supported to succeed in their own way.

Your role:

  • Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND

  • Support communication, emotional regulation, and engagement

  • Adapt learning to suit individual needs

  • Work closely with teachers, SEND staff, and external professionals

  • Help create a calm, structured, and positive learning space

What makes this school stand out:

  • A strong, inclusive ethos where every child is valued

  • A dedicated team with a real focus on collaboration

  • Well-developed SEND provision and support systems

  • A vibrant, community-driven environment

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children with SEND, ideally 1:1

  • Is calm, patient, and resilient

  • Builds strong relationships with ease

  • Is proactive and committed to making a difference

If you’re looking for a role where you’ll feel supported and valued, this is a brilliant opportunity.
