We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our sixth form college in Kensington & Chelsea.
The role will primarily involve supporting Level 1 students, with the opportunity to provide additional support within Performing Arts.
The role will include:
- Providing classroom and individual support to Level 1 students
- Helping students stay engaged and focused on their learning
- Supporting students with confidence, communication and independence
- Working closely with teaching staff to meet students' individual needs
- Providing additional support within Performing Arts where appropriate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
- Is patient, reliable and approachable
- Can build positive relationships with students
- Has a calm and encouraging manner
- Is flexible and willing to support across different areas of the college
Essential: A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
