As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and reach their individual potential.
✨ The role may include:
🧩 Providing 1:1 or small-group support
📚 Helping pupils access the curriculum
💬 Supporting communication and social development
💙 Working with pupils with a range of SEN needs
🤝 Working closely with teachers and the wider school team
🌱 Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour
We’re looking for people who are:
✔️ Passionate about supporting children
✔️ Patient, caring and empathetic
✔️ Reliable and committed
✔️ Confident working with pupils with additional needs
✔️ Able to build positive relationships with children and staff
✔️ Experienced in education or SEN — although relevant transferable experience is also welcomed
