Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Bristol?
Protocol Education is currently recruiting TAs and SEN TAs to support pupils across a wide range of primary, secondary and specialist SEND settings in Bristol.
The Role
Depending on the setting, you may:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
- Support classroom learning and daily activities.
- Assist with literacy, numeracy and curriculum-based tasks.
- Support pupils with SEN/SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional needs.
- Help manage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Support pupils' confidence, independence and social development.
- Prepare and organise classroom resources.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, LSA or similar is desirable.
- SEN/SEND experience is highly desirable for SEN TA opportunities.
- Experience providing 1:1 or small-group support is advantageous.
- Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and professional.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.
