  • Strong departmental collaboration and access to a wide range of resources.

  • Free onsite parking, term-time lunches, access to gym facilities and a supportive staff culture.

The role

You will teach PE across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to GCSE PE or BTEC Sport depending on your experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering a varied curriculum that develops skills, fitness and teamwork.

  • Running lessons that are structured, safe and engaging for pupils of all abilities.

  • Contributing to extracurricular sport, including clubs, fixtures and events.

  • Supporting the department with assessment, record-keeping and planning.

  • Maintaining high expectations for participation, conduct and effort.

  • Working closely with colleagues to support whole-school wellbeing and student engagement.

  • Have strong subject knowledge and confidence in delivering a broad PE curriculum.

  • Model professionalism, reliability and clear communication.

  • Enjoy working in a team that values consistency, good organisation and mutual support.

  • Be comfortable taking a proactive role in extracurricular sport.

  • Bring a calm, positive approach to teaching and managing behaviour.

What the school offers in return

  • A stable timetable and predictable working day from 8.30am to 3.30pm.

  • Access to high-quality equipment and facilities.

  • Opportunities for continued professional development.

  • A leadership team that prioritises classroom quality and staff wellbeing.

  • A workplace where teachers are trusted to do their job well.
