We’re recruiting a SEND Support Assistant for primary schools in Gateshead. Ideal if you’re looking for Teaching Assistant jobs in Gateshead or starting out with graduate jobs in schools.
This role is about relationships. Being the calm voice. The encouraging presence. The person who helps a child feel safe enough to try again.
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only

• Supporting learning across different subjects
• Providing 1:1 support tailored to individual needs
• Using positive behaviour strategies to keep things on track
• Encouraging independence and confidence
