We’re looking for graduates to step into a Graduate Teaching Assistant role in Gateshead, supporting children in primary schools. What your day will look like:
• Starting the morning by welcoming pupils and helping them settle
• Supporting lessons across subjects, from phonics to maths
• Working 1:1 with children who need extra support
• Helping pupils stay focused, engaged, and confident
• Supporting behaviour in a calm, positive way
• Building relationships that help children feel safe and understood
What we’re looking for:
• Graduates in Psychology, Education, Sociology, or similar
• Confident communicators who can build rapport quickly
• Patient, empathetic, and positive individuals
• Anyone serious about exploring a career in education
