A specialist SEND school in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and additional learning requirements.
You'll join a supportive team committed to delivering personalised learning and creating opportunities for every learner to succeed.
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: Competitive Daily Rate (Dependent on Experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
What you'll be doing
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Monitoring progress and adapting learning accordingly
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and families
- Supporting EHCP targets and individual learning plans
We're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for SEND education
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A flexible and nurturing approach
