SEN Teaching Assistants Needed – Barking
Protocol Education are currently looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school in Barking on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting children with additional needs and wants to make a real difference to their learning and development.
The role:
- Full-time position within a primary school in Barking.
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and/or small-group basis.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to support pupils' learning and development.
- Helping pupils to access classroom activities and build their confidence and independence.
- Supporting with behaviour, communication and emotional regulation where required.
We're looking for:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN.
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs within a school or educational setting.
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- Someone confident providing 1:1 and small-group support.
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.
