Cover Supervisors Needed – Secondary Schools in Bristol
Think of yourself as the captain holding the ship steady when the teacher’s away. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms, keep lessons on track, and give students the guidance they need to keep learning. No planning, no marking – just leading the class, keeping order, and making sure everyone gets the most out of their day.
What you’ll be doing:

Supervising lessons when teachers are absent

Delivering pre-prepared work and making sure students stay on task

Managing behaviour and keeping the classroom calm, focused, and productive

Being a positive role model and approachable point of support for pupils
What we’re looking for:

Confident communicators with a strong presence in the classroom

Experience working with young people (schools, youth groups, coaching, etc.)

Patience, adaptability, and the ability to think on your feet

A flexible approach to working across different schools in Bristol
