SEN Teaching Assistant – Reception Class
Full-Time | ASAP Start | 8:15am – 3:30pm
An Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school is seeking a skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support their Reception class. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working closely with three SEN pupils to ensure they receive tailored support and guidance.
Your Role:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for three SEN pupils in Reception.

Manage the needs of dysregulated students.

Implement strategies to support pupils’ learning, social, and emotional development.

Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider staff to create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment.

Maintain patience, consistency, and professionalism while managing challenging behaviour.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with SEN pupils, ideally in a Reception setting.

Ability to manage dysregulated students with resilience and confidence.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Calm, consistent, and adaptable approach to behaviour management.

Commitment to supporting every child to achieve their potential.
Hours: 8:15am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
