Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner / Room Leader to join a welcoming and supportive nursery setting in Walthamstow from September 2026. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The nursery is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years professional who can help create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can thrive. Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply and will be supported by an experienced leadership team.
The Role
- Full-time, long-term position starting September 2026
- Leading and supporting a nursery room within the setting
- Planning and delivering engaging Early Years activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
- Building positive relationships with parents, carers and staff
- Maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Passionate about supporting children in the Early Years
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organised, proactive and nurturing approach
- Previous nursery or childcare experience desirable but not essential
- Newly qualified practitioners welcome to apply
