Make a Difference as a Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a full-time Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in East London from September 2025. This is a Monday to Friday, full school day role, working closely with pupils to help them reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do:

Support the class teacher in delivering lively, engaging lessons.

Provide one-to-one and small group assistance to pupils with SEN.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Help with classroom organisation and admin tasks.

Work in partnership with parents, colleagues, and other professionals.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children in an educational setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

Education or childcare qualifications (desirable).
Safeguarding:
You must hold an enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one), be registered with the DBS Update Service, provide references covering the past two years, and pass all required safeguarding checks before starting.
