We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive 2‑form entry primary school in Colchester who are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to lead a Reception class from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years teacher who is committed to delivering the EYFS curriculum in a nurturing, engaging, and child‑centred environment.
The Role:
- Full‑time Reception class teacher
- Based in a 2‑form entry primary school
- Planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum
- Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the parallel Reception teacher, EYFS team, and leadership
- Supporting pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing during this crucial early stage
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in EYFS, ideally Reception
- Demonstrate a strong passion for the Early Years curriculum
- Be creative, nurturing, and child‑focused in their teaching approach
- Have strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
- Work effectively as part of a team in a 2‑form entry setting
