We are seeking a full-time Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in East London from September 2025. You will work Monday to Friday during the full school day, supporting pupils in their learning and development.

Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.

Provide tailored, one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.

Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks.

Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other professionals.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

A genuine passion for education and supporting children’s growth.

Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (desirable).

All applicants must hold an enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one), be registered with the DBS Update Service, provide references covering the last two years, and successfully pass all other safeguarding checks before starting work.
