We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Wakefield. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with classroom activities.
• Delivering small group interventions.
• Assisting with behaviour management.
• Encouraging pupil participation and confidence.
• Supporting the social and emotional development of learners.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
