The Role:
- Provide classroom support to teachers and students across a range of subjects.
- Deliver focused one-to-one and small group support sessions.
- Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning.
- Support students with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs when required.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and attendance.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience working with children or young people.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Positive, professional, and adaptable approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people's development.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the DBS Update Service is a mandatory requirement. This is non-negotiable and applicants must hold a current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service before being considered for school placements.
