🏫 Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenwich
Start Date: September 2025
Love supporting teens through their trickiest years? We’ve got just the role.
A brilliant secondary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. It’s a full-time, long-term role perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference—especially if you’ve got a calm head and a big heart.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting students across KS3 and KS4, including in core subjects like English, Maths and Science
- Providing 1:1 and group support—academic and emotional
- Helping learners build confidence and stay on track
- Working closely with teachers and SEN teams to personalise learning
You should apply if you:
- Have experience working with young people (schools, youth work, tutoring etc.)
- Are confident in managing behaviour and building rapport
- Have a flexible, proactive attitude (and a good sense of humour helps!)
- Are up for learning new skills—especially around SEND or EAL support
Extra points if:
- You’re Thrive trained (or keen to be—we offer it for free!)
- You’ve worked with learners with Autism, ADHD or SEMH needs
Why Protocol Education?
- ✅ Weekly PAYE pay—no umbrella company hassle
- ✅ Free CPD, including Thrive and behaviour training
- ✅ Friendly, local consultants who’ve got your back
- ✅ A proper match with schools that value support staff
This is more than classroom support. It’s about showing up for students when it counts—and helping them believe in themselves.
