Protocol Education is working closely with welcoming nurseries and primary schools across in BS10 to find caring, reliable and flexible Early Years and Nursery Support Staff who genuinely love helping little ones feel safe, settled and ready to explore the world around them.
We’re looking for Nursery Assistants, Early Years Practitioners and Learning Support Staff who thrive in those precious first stages of education. These roles are perfect for people who bring patience, warmth and consistency into every interaction, and who understand just how powerful early relationships are in helping children grow in confidence.
You’ll mainly be supporting children within EYFS and early Key Stage 1, after half-term, and will be working one to one or with small groups. Day to day, you’ll help children settle into routines, support play based learning, encourage early communication, phonics foundations and number awareness, and nurture curiosity through exploration. You’ll model positive behaviour, build independence and celebrate those small but mighty milestones that mean so much at this age.
At Protocol Education, we take the time to match you to short and long term roles that suit your experience, preferences and availability. You’ll be joining caring, inclusive settings where teamwork, kindness and staff wellbeing are genuinely valued, not just talked about.
If you love seeing children take their first confident steps in learning, build friendships and feel proud of themselves each day, this could be a really rewarding next move.
