Protocol Education is recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for flexible supply, long-term and full-time opportunities across a wide range of primary and secondary schools in Bristol.

Whether you’re looking to build confidence through supply work, gain experience across different schools or secure a longer-term teaching position, we can support you throughout your ECT journey.

Opportunities Available

Primary:

The Role

Depending on the school and setting, you may:

  • Deliver engaging lessons using existing plans or your own planning.

  • Apply your knowledge from your PGCE teaching placement.

  • Maintain positive classroom routines and behaviour.

  • Adapt learning activities to meet different pupil needs.

  • Support pupil engagement, progress and development.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.

  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Work across different year groups, subjects and school settings.

Requirements

  • Completed PGCE placement in a UK school.

  • QTS achieved or confirmed.

  • Recent UK school teaching experience through your PGCE placement.

  • Strong understanding of classroom and behaviour management.

  • Good communication and organisational skills.

  • Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.

  • Passion for supporting pupils and developing as a teacher.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.
