An Ofsted-rated Outstanding mainstream primary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a highly supportive and well-resourced school known for its strong leadership, high expectations, and commitment to pupil success.
The Role:

Take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and effective lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum expectations

Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions
-
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and independence

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional learning needs

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development and achievement

Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s ethos and values
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable but not essential)

Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective teaching practice

Be confident in managing a classroom and maintaining high standards of behaviour

Show a passion for teaching and improving outcomes for all learners

Be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
