The role
We are working with a well-established 11–18 secondary school in Northumberland to recruit a Geography Teacher for supply and long-term opportunities. This role would suit a passionate geographer who can deliver engaging, relevant lessons and inspire curiosity about the world around us.
The Humanities faculty is collaborative and well supported, with clear schemes of work and a strong emphasis on inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

Deliver engaging lessons covering physical and human geography

Differentiate to meet the needs of mixed-ability classes

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic progress

Work collaboratively within the Humanities department
The ideal candidate

QTS, QTLS, or equivalent UK teaching experience

Strong subject knowledge in Geography

Confident classroom management skills
