A well-established mainstream secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain valuable experience within a school setting or build on existing classroom experience in a supportive environment.
The Role:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to students across a range of subjects

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning

Support the smooth running of the school day by maintaining a positive learning environment

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff members as required
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with young people in an educational setting (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

Be confident managing groups of secondary-aged students

Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

Be organised, reliable, and adaptable

Be able to follow instructions and work independently

Have a calm and professional approach to behaviour management
