Got a calm head, a kind heart, and a real talent for helping young people feel safe and understood? Then this could be right up your street.

Protocol Education is working with a number of welcoming schools across Streatham who are looking for support staff to join their Enhanced Learning Provisions. These settings support pupils who need a little extra structure, reassurance and encouragement to thrive at school.

This isn’t a role where you stand on the sidelines. You’ll be right there, building trust, offering consistency and helping pupils believe in themselves, sometimes for the very first time.

What your days will involve
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning, behavioural or emotional needs

  • Working closely with teachers and SEN teams to keep days calm, safe and purposeful

  • Helping young people regulate emotions, stay engaged and feel understood

  • Creating a supportive environment where progress feels achievable, even on tough days

We’re looking for people who
  • Are patient, resilient and genuinely care about young people

  • Have experience in schools, SEND, youth work, care or similar settings, or are keen to learn

  • Stay calm under pressure and don’t take challenging moments personally

  • Want to make a real difference, even when the days feel demanding

What you’ll get in return
  • Roles in supportive schools that truly value their support staff

  • Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella faff

  • FREE access to our CPD Academy, including SEND and behaviour training

  • A friendly, local consultant who listens and works around you

  • Opportunities for long-term and ongoing placements

Thrive trained? Brilliant.

Not yet? No problem. We offer FREE Thrive training, which schools love and which gives you practical tools to support emotional wellbeing in the classroom.
If you’re looking for meaningful work where your presence really matters, this could be the role for you.
