Cover Supervisor

Location: Northumberland, close to green open spaces and excellent public transport links
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £110 to £130 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, part-time or flexible supply

The role

Perfect for confident communicators, aspiring teachers or experienced support staff wanting a step up. You’ll be the calm, capable person who keeps learning on track when teachers are absent. The school is well organised, with clear routines, supportive behaviour systems and students who respond well to consistency.

Your responsibilities

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a mix of subjects.

• Keeping students on task and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.

• Managing behaviour using the school’s established routines.

• Reporting back to teachers on how lessons went.

• Being a reliable presence that students trust and respect.
