A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking department within a school that values high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom practice

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography

  • Be confident managing a classroom and promoting positive behaviour

  • Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress

  • Work well as part of a collaborative department and wider staff team
