A thriving mainstream secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed and passionate History Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting immediately. The Role:

Deliver engaging and well-planned History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work

Inspire students to develop a strong interest and understanding of historical events, concepts, and interpretations

Support learners of varying abilities, ensuring progress and attainment for all

Contribute to the wider department and participate in school life

Maintain effective classroom management and uphold high expectations of behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Have experience teaching History at secondary level

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History

Be confident in delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students

Possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Be a team player with a proactive and professional approach
