Protocol Education is looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including SEND, Autism (ASD), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), ADHD, Speech & Language Needs and complex learning difficulties across schools in the area from September.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom
  • Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
  • Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Supporting communication, sensory and regulation strategies
  • Working alongside teachers, SENDCOs and external professionals
  • Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils can succeed
