We are working in partnership with a well-regarded further education college seeking a dedicated and adaptable Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students studying GCSE and post-16 courses across a range of departments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education and student development, with the potential to move into a permanent role following a successful temporary period.
The Role:

Providing in-class support to students at GCSE level and above

Working across different departments (e.g. English, Maths, Science, vocational subjects)

Supporting learners with additional needs, including SEN, EHCPs, or learning difficulties

Assisting students with organisation, focus, and access to learning materials

Promoting independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

Liaising with teaching staff and support teams to monitor progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience supporting young people or adults in an educational or support setting
-
A patient, empathetic and professional approach
-
Confidence supporting learners at GCSE level and above
-
The ability to adapt to different subjects and learning environments
-
An understanding of safeguarding within a further education setting
-
SEN experience is desirable but not essential
