Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Bristol?
Protocol Education is recruiting TAs and SEN TAs to support pupils across a wide range of primary, secondary and specialist SEND settings.
The Role
Depending on the setting, you may:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.

Support teachers with classroom learning and activities.
-
Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy and curriculum-based tasks.
-
Support pupils with SEN/SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional needs.

Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.
-
Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and engagement.
-
Prepare and organise classroom resources.
-
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.

Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, LSA or similar is desirable.

SEN/SEND experience is highly desirable for SEN TA opportunities.
-
Experience providing 1:1 or small-group support is advantageous.

Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
Reliable and professional.
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.
