Contract: Full-time, fixed-term (maternity cover)
Salary: Paid to scale, depending on experience
Requirements: Qualified teacher status (QTS) essential
We’re working with a well-established, friendly secondary school near Bristol that is seeking a full-time Geography Teacher to cover a colleague’s maternity leave starting in January. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 & 4, with full planning, delivery and marking responsibilities.
About the role

You will deliver Geography lessons to mixed-ability groups in Years 7–11. At KS3, students receive two lessons per week; at KS4, the curriculum increases to three lessons per week.

You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, marking work and assessments, and helping students build understanding of physical, human and environmental geography.

You will join a committed Humanities/Geography team where collaboration, consistent expectations and support for students are valued.
