PMLD Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs (Full Time)

Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full time, long term
Start: ASAP
Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

This specialist setting is looking for a thoughtful, patient PMLD TA to support pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities. If you’re someone who brings calm, compassion and genuine care, this is a deeply rewarding role.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with high physical, medical and sensory needs

• Using multisensory learning approaches including touch, sound, movement and light

• Assisting with personal care, mobility, hoisting and feeding

• Helping pupils regulate through sensory routines

• Working closely with therapists and medical professionals
