Whether you’re a subject specialist who enjoys a bit of variety, an experienced teacher easing your way back into the classroom, or simply looking for a better work-life balance, supply teaching might be just what your week’s been missing.

We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Shropshire that has a real sense of community. It’s the kind of place where students are encouraged to succeed and staff genuinely enjoy being part of the school.

The curriculum is broad and balanced across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Core subjects such as English, Maths, Science and PE form the foundation, alongside a wide range of option subjects that allow students to explore their interests. Languages also play an important role in school life, with French taught from Year 7 and the option to study German or Spanish from Year 8.

Learning here goes well beyond the classroom. Drama, music and sport are a big part of school life, and regular trips help bring lessons to life. Extended learning is genuinely valued, and it shows in the enthusiasm and engagement of the students.

Pastoral support is another real strength. A dedicated pastoral team works closely with teaching staff and the SEN department to ensure every pupil feels supported, included and ready to learn. As part of a wider trust, the school also benefits from strong partnerships with local primary and secondary schools, along with close links to post-16 providers. That collaboration helps many students move confidently into further education once they finish Year 11.

All you need to bring is your subject expertise and confidence in the classroom. We’ll handle the rest. Whether you’re looking for full-time supply, part-time flexibility, or the occasional day in the classroom, we’ll help build a schedule that works for you. With lessons prepared, schools fully briefed and support only a phone call away, you can focus on what you do best, teaching and enjoying the day.
