We're working with welcoming and well-supported Secondary Schools across Ealing who are looking for reliable Cover Supervisors to join their teams. You'll play a key role in keeping learning on track when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay engaged and classrooms remain positive learning environments.
What you'll be doing:
• Supervising classes using pre-prepared lesson plans in the teacher's absence
• Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
• Supporting students with their learning and answering questions where appropriate
• Ensuring pupils remain focused and complete the work set
• Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour and lesson outcomes
• Building positive relationships with students and becoming a valued member of the school community
What we're looking for:
• Confidence leading a classroom and engaging with secondary-aged students
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A calm, resilient and professional approach
• The ability to think on your feet and adapt to different subjects and year groups
• Experience working with young people in schools, coaching, youth work or similar settings is desirable but not essential
• Graduates and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply
