The Role

As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with their wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in school
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need additional guidance
  • Help students manage emotions, routines, and day-to-day challenges
  • Provide support during lessons, as well as at key times like break and lunch
  • Work closely with pastoral leads, SENCOs, and teaching staff
  • Build strong, trusting relationships that help students feel safe and supported

You’ll be a key part of the school’s pastoral team, helping students navigate school life with more confidence.
