About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, creating a positive learning environment, and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their career within a nurturing and inclusive school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
- Differentiate teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Foster positive behaviour and maintain effective classroom management.
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil achievement.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.
